Why We Built A2O: An iOS App to Web App Converter

Although it’s now technologically feasible to create near-native experiences on mobile web, users continue to gravitate towards native App Stores. The technology has arrived, but users have not. Given this climate, developers have a hard time justifying investing in the web.

We built A2O to bridge this gap: with A2O, developers can deliver their iOS Apps on the web while continuing to focus their efforts on native apps.

What is the A2O Converter and How Does it Work?

“Apples to Oranges” (A2O) is a source-to-source compiler that builds web applications from iOS application source code.

In this post, we'll show you what the conversion process looks like and discuss the internals of A2O.
